The meeting was attended by Leonid Bytsyura. In his speech, he focused on the implementation of technological experience in the field of drinking and domestic water supply, irrigation in the agricultural sector, climate adaptation of the national economy, modernization of environmental monitoring, development of university science potential, and interaction with specialized institutions and organizations in Ukraine and Israel.

“For me, as a scientist and practitioner, the example of Israeli solutions in the field of agricultural technology and ecology is a key position in my work in the water industry, along with the experience of the United States, Finland, and South Korea. Based on this experience, our company has modernized certain approaches in crop production and dairy farming. Currently, we are actively engaged in project work in the areas of bioenergy, implementation of soil remediation technologies, post-war environmental restoration, research on the use of machine learning and artificial intelligence tools for water efficiency, and experimental activities on the use of environmental technologies in agriculture and manufacturing,” the speaker said.

The cooperation between Smart solution and the Ukrainian Water Association is particularly noteworthy, as the latter focuses on establishing interaction between all water policy stakeholders: government officials, MPs, heads of specialized institutions, experts and scientists. In various forms, seminars, roundtables, conferences of various levels, we participated in 40 environmental events, including 12 with the participation of Israeli colleagues and alumni of MASHAV projects.
